Come, thou Fount of every blessing, Tune my heart to sing Thy grace; Streams of mercy, never ceasing, Call for songs of loudest praise. Jesus sought me when a stranger, Wand’ring from the face of God; He, to save my soul from danger, Interposed His precious blood. O to grace how great a debtor Daily I’m constrained to be! Let that grace, Lord, like a fetter, Bind my wand’ring heart to Thee. Teach me, Lord, some rapturous measure, Meet for me Thy grace to prove, While I sing the countless treasure Of my God’s unchanging love. Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it; Prone to leave the god I love; Take my heart, O take and seal it With Thy Spirit from above. Rescued thus from sin and danger, Purchased by the Savior’s blood May I walk on earth a stranger, As a son and heir of God.

Holy 04:52
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee; Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty! God in three persons, blessed Trinity! Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide Thee, Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see, Only Thou art holy, there is none beside Thee, Perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity. Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! All Thy works shall praise Thy name, in earth, and sky, and sea; Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty! God in three persons, blessed Trinity!

By The Brook 05:31
The lyrics of this Chinese hymn were written by Titus Chu and the music by Yu Jin. There is yet no good English translation of this hymn which is why I did not include them here, yet the story and the thought behind this beautiful song is touching and inspiring. Titus’s wife struggled for many years with cancer, and several years ago, came very close to passing. As Titus was in the hospital, praying earnestly and yearning his wife’s condition to improve, his thoughts turned to the Lord. He realized how much the Lord yearns for us, and is pained for our salvation. Even in the midst of deep anguish, the Lord’s sufferings seemed to overshadow his own troubles and convicted him of how little he gave to God, to aid in his suffering for mankind’s salvation. This hymn reflects those thoughts.

Deep Love 05:41
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free! Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me! Underneath me, all around me, is the current of Thy love Leading onward, leading homeward to Thy glorious rest above! O the deep, deep love of Jesus, spread His praise from shore to shore! How He loveth, ever loveth, changeth never, nevermore! How He watches o’er His loved ones, died to call them all His own; How for them He intercedeth, watcheth o’er them from the throne! O the deep, deep love of Jesus, love of every love the best! ’Tis an ocean full of blessing, ’tis a haven giving rest! O the deep, deep love of Jesus, ’tis a heaven of heavens to me; And it lifts me up to glory, for it lifts me up to Thee!

O Love 03:53
O Love, that will not let me go, I rest my weary soul in Thee; I give thee back the life I owe, That in Thine ocean depths its flow May richer, fuller be. O Light, that followest all my way, I yield my flickering torch to thee; My heart restores its borrowed ray, That in they sunshine’s blaze its day My brighter, fairer be. O Joy that seekest me through pain, I cannot close my heart to thee; I trace the rainbow through the rain, And feel the promise is not vain, That morn shall tearless be.
6.
When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince of Glory died; my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride. See, from His head, His hands, His feet, sorrow and love flow mingled down. Did e’er such love and sorrow meet, or thorns compose so rich a crown. Were the whole realm of nature mine, that were an offering far too small; love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all.
7.
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now I see. T’was Grace that taught my heart to fear. And Grace, my fears relieved. How precious did that Grace appear The hour I first believed. When we’ve been here ten thousand years Bright shining as the sun. We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise Than when we’ve first begun.

Arise 07:40
Arise, my soul, arise! Shake off thy guilty fears; The bleeding Sacrifice In my behalf appears. Before the throne my Surety stands; My name is written on His hands. My name is written on His hands. He ever lives above For me to intercede, His all-redeeming love, His precious blood to plead. His blood was shed for all our race, And sprinkles now the throne of grace. And sprinkles now the throne of grace. Five bleeding wounds He bears, Received on Calvary; They pour effectual prayers; They strongly speak for me. Forgive him, O forgive, they cry, Nor let that ransomed sinner die! Nor let that ransomed sinner die! The Father hears Him pray, His dear anointed one; He cannot turn away The presence of His Son. His Spirit answers to the blood, And tells me I am born of God. And tells me I am born of God. To God I’m reconciled, His pardoning voice I hear; He owns me for His child, I can no longer fear. With confidence I now draw nigh, And Father, Abba, Father cry. And Father, Abba, Father cry.
9.
Chorus: Then sings my soul, My Savior God to thee: How great thou art! How great thou art! Then sings my soul, My Savior God to thee, How great thou art! How great thou art! O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder, Consider all the works thy hands have made; I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder Thy power throughout The universe displayed. And when I think, That God, his Son not sparing, Sent him to die— I scarce can take it in: That on the cross, My burden gladly bearing, He bled and died To take away my sin: Jesus Loves Me: Jesus loves me this I know, For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to him belong, They are weak but He his strong. Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.
